vision string quartet

A new vision of string music

The Berlin-based vision string quartet combines classical string repertoire with the modern energy of their own compositions, freely drawing inspiration from folk, pop, rock, and minimalism. The ensemble explores new sounds, sometimes surprisingly modern, while their bold performances and on-stage dynamism attract both classical music enthusiasts and listeners interested in fresh, unconventional forms of expression.

During concerts, they perform from memory and mostly standing up—they believe this enhances their expression and brings them closer to the energy of pop or rock bands, allowing for an even closer and more spontaneous connection with the audience.

The vision string quartet won the prestigious Opus Klassik award in 2020 in the "Chamber Music" category for their debut album Memento, and this year, the artists were nominated for the same award for their album In the Fields in the "Classic without Limits" category. This perfectly proves that the vision string quartet breaks boundaries between genres and conventions, as does the fact that the artists compose, produce, and record their own tracks, as well as direct their own music videos.
