Explore the Museum during Break in Classic

The Museum of Interiors in Otwock Wielki is a branch of the National Museum in Warsaw, located in a historic, baroque residence surrounded by a park. Its palace interiors house, among other things, a magnificent collection of musical instruments and the unique exhibition "Paderewski's Gift".

Architectural barriers & Accessibility

From the parking lot to the building of the Museum of Interiors and the park leads a path paved with so-called cobblestones (cat's heads). It is approx. 100 meters long. The alleys in the park are asphalt and wide. Benches stand next to them.
You enter the Museum of Interiors directly from the level of the path. The entrance doors are double-leaf. After opening one leaf, the passage has a width of 86 cm. On the ground floor there are no thresholds or stairs, the passages to subsequent rooms have approx. 136 cm of width. In one place, the passage between rooms has approx. 1 meter of length and 85 cm of width.
You can enter the upper floor of the palace exclusively by winder (spiral) stairs. In the Museum there is no elevator, stair platforms, or lifts.
On the upper floor, passages to some rooms are narrow – they have from 70 to 82 cm. A step with a height of 9 cm leads to one of the rooms. In this place, there is also a lowered passage – it has approx. 170 cm.
In the building of the Museum, on the ground floor there is a toilet for persons with disabilities. You can enter the Museum of Interiors and all of its rooms with an assistance dog and a guide dog during the opening hours of the Museum according to the schedule of the festival.
We do not provide the service of video translation into sign language. There is no induction loop in the building.
