Privacy Policy – Break in Classic

We care about the privacy of participants, partners, and everyone involved in the organization of the Break in Classic Festival, which will take place from July 31 to August 2, 2026, at the Interior Museum (Muzeum Wnętrz) in Otwock Wielki. The event is organized by the Toinen Pro Art Foundation.

This privacy policy has been prepared in connection with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, known as the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), which has been in force since May 25, 2018. Here you will find information regarding:

  • the legal basis for processing personal data,

  • the purpose, scope, and method of their processing,

  • your rights.
     

Personal data is any information that can lead to the identification of a natural person—e.g., name, surname, email address, phone number, or IP address.

The Foundation has not appointed a Data Protection Officer.

II. For what purpose and on what basis do we process data?

Personal data is processed only when it is necessary for the implementation of specific activities related to the organization of the festival. The legal bases for processing include:
 

  • performance of contracts and agreements – Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR,

  • obligations arising from legal provisions, including tax regulations – Art. 6(1)(c) of the GDPR,

  • legitimate interest of the administrator, including informational contact, event promotion, securing potential claims – Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR,

  • expressed consent – e.g., newsletter subscription or submission of registration forms – Art. 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.
     

Providing personal data is voluntary, but in some cases, it is necessary to participate in the event or to implement cooperation.

III. How long do we store your data?

The data storage time depends on the purpose of their processing:
 

  • data processed based on an agreement – until its termination and the expiration of the limitation period for claims,

  • data based on consent – until its withdrawal,

  • data necessary from the point of view of legal obligations – in accordance with the deadlines specified in the regulations,

  • data processed based on a legitimate interest – until an effective objection is raised or the purpose expires.

IV. To whom can we transfer the data?

Personal data may be shared with:
 

  • collaborators and contractors involved in the organization of the event,

  • providers of technical, IT, or accounting services,

  • entities authorized by law, if necessary,

  • entities processing data on our behalf based on entrustment agreements.
     

Data will not be transferred outside the European Economic Area unless appropriate safeguards are provided (e.g., EU standard contractual clauses).

V. What rights do you have?

You have the right to:
 

  • access your data and obtain a copy thereof,

  • rectify or complete your data,

  • request the erasure of data if there is no basis for their further processing,

  • restrict the processing of data in certain situations,

  • data portability (if processing is based on consent or contract),

  • object to data processing based on the administrator's interest,

  • withdraw previously given consent,

  • lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych).

VI. Information about cookies

The festival website may use cookies for the purpose of:
 

  • ensuring the proper functioning of the website (e.g., logging in, forms),

  • traffic analysis and optimization of the service (e.g., Google Analytics),

  • adjusting content to the user's preferences.
     

Cookies can be:
 

  • session cookies (deleted after closing the browser),

  • persistent cookies (stored for up to 12 months).
     

Each user can independently manage cookie settings in their browser.

VII. Changes to the privacy policy

The Toinen Pro Art Foundation reserves the right to update this policy in the event of changes in legal regulations, guidelines from supervisory authorities, or new organizational and technological solutions. Information about changes will be published on the festival's website.
